One of the things we miss most about living in West Michigan is the easy access to Lake Michigan. It was so nice being able to hop in the car and be at the lake in under an hour.

I have always enjoyed taking a peek into people’s lives via their social media account. For the most part, I would say I have a healthy relationship with it. It’s been a whirlwind few weeks. As most of you know, we were in Denmark and Norway (trip was amazing, post coming soon) all last week. We got back to the states on Sunday afternoon and ever since then I feel like I’ve just been sprinting from task to task.

After graduating college I felt like my life had a clear path. Teaching is one of the only careers that you can actually major in and know exactly what you are going to do for potentially the rest of your life.
I was fortunate to get a job right after graduating and taught special education for three years in Otsego, Michigan. I enjoyed my job, my coworkers, and loved living with and near friends in Grand Rapids.
