Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. This year, instead of running out to the store at the last minute and picking up a generic gift of chocolate and flowers select one of these gifts with a little more meaning. Read More
It was a typical Sunday afternoon for me…laundry, reading, cleaning—- when the craving hit.
Chocolate & peanut butter—I needed it now.
I decided to try my hand at some no-bake oatmeal bites…seemed like a pretty foolproof recipe and let me tell you it was! You really can’t mess this up. Read More

I live for bread…in all it’s forms.
English muffins? Need them.
Bagels? Gotta have
I cannot imagine a life without bread. One of my favorite things to make is banana bread. I could eat a whole pan by myself. This week when I thought about making some, I decided I wanted to make it in muffin form so I could have breakfast to go for a few days. Read More
Hi!! Happy New Year!!
It’s been so long since I wrote a blog post….between the holidays and traveling I’ve been totally wiped out. You know how the longer you avoid doing something the harder it is to come back to it? That’s how I have felt about blogging. Read More
Happy December, Friends!
I feel like I say this every year but really…I can’t believe it’s almost time to ring in the new year! 2017 has been really good to me and I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings.
Today, I wanted to share with you a great gift idea for yourself or someone you love, the She Reads Truth Bible. I was given this Bible to review for B&H Publishing by FrontGate Media. While I was given the Bible for free –all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The She Reads Truth Bible aims to live at the intersection of beauty, goodness, and Truth. Featuring devotionals by the She Reads Truth team, and Scripture reading plans that include supplemental passages for deeper understanding, this Bible invites every woman to count themselves among the She Reads Truth community of “Women in the Word of God every day.” The She Reads Truth Bible also features 66 key verses, artfully lettered to aid in Scripture memorization.
Features include: almost 200 devotionals, 66 artist-designed key verses, 35 full-color timelines, 20 full-color maps, 11 full-color charts, reading plans for every book of the Bible, one-year Bible reading plan, detailed book introductions, key verse list, carefully curated topical index, smyth-sewn binding, two colored ribbon markers, and wide margins for journaling and note-taking.
I love the reading plans and supplemental verses to support chapters in the Bible. It provides additional background knowledge and really ties things together.
My only complaint about the Bible is that it is pretty heavy—because of all the additional content included. I don’t think this is a Bible I would travel with or take with me to church, this would be my home study Bible.
I really am looking forward to using this Bible more. I feel like I have only begun to get a glimpse as to all the amazing features. This would be an awesome gift for yourself or someone else on your Christmas list 🙂 To purchase, visit http://shereadstruthbible.com.

Can we all agree that washing your hair is the worst? I was stuck in an endless cycle of shampooing, styling, and shampooing again because every day/every other day my hair was oily and reminiscent of a used car salesman. Read More
Happy Fall Y’All!
Ann Arbor has been experiencing a heat wave lately (not cute) and I have been re-wearing the same 3 outfits that are school appropriate and semi-cool…because there is no air conditioning in my school! By the end of the day, my hair looks like a lions mane and I am ready for a nap.
bring on the fall weather….please!
